After two successful print jobs, the third print job will fail and display the following pop-up message:
Unable to start the printer (error code 122). (ERROR #3145)
A Windows security update that contains a known printing issue was installed on the computer.
Details about the problematic security updates:
Windows 7/8.1 - KB3177725
Windows 10 - KB3176493
For now, each time you receive this error message:
Close and reopen ALLDATA Repair (DVD).
Print the document again.
IMPORTANT – Uninstalling, or not keeping up to date with the latest Windows Updates, can lead to additional unforeseen computer issues.
Only use the following option if the recommended solution above does not allow you to continue running your business effectively.
Be sure to turn the automatic updates back on once Microsoft has resolved the issue.
