We offer both one-year and five-year subscriptions. Additional vehicle subscriptions are also available at savings of over 30%. You must register for access to the site and choose from the following subscription packages:

How do I pay for a subscription?
Payment is due at the time of online registration. We accept Visa, American Express, or MasterCard.
How do I use a gift certificate/program/discount code to pay for my subscription?
After confirming your vehicle selection, enter your profile and account information. If you have a gift certificate, discount code or program code, enter it in the field labeled Enter Gift Certificate.
What is the refund policy?
ALLDATAdiy.com is committed to customer satisfaction. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within ten days of your purchase.

How do I switch my subscription to a new car?
Your ALLDATAdiy.com account allows you to change your subscription vehicle one time during the subscription term (one or five years).

How do I find vehicle information?

What does “VIN” refer to when selecting my engine?
Every vehicle has a unique VIN or Vehicle Identification Number. The 8th digit of your VIN references the engine code. Please contact us if you need assistance with your VIN.
Where can I find my Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?
Most vehicles have a VIN tag on the dashboard (driver’s side) or on the driver-side door frame. You can also find the VIN on your insurance card/policy, vehicle title and DMV registration.
Where are mini-vans and cross-overs listed?
Mini-vans and cross-over vehicles can be found under the manufacturer’s name and “Trucks.” For example: A Ford Windstar can be found under Ford Truck.
Where can I find BMW/Mini repair information?
ALLDATA’s Automotive Repair Database has information for most domestic and imported vehicles sold in the U.S., however, BMW/Mini information is not included in ALLDATAdiy.com at the request of the manufacturer.
Where can I find information for vehicles older than 1982?
ALLDATA’s Automotive Repair Database has information for most domestic and imported vehicles sold in the U.S. between 1982 and present. Pre-1982 vehicles are not covered.
What do I do if there is a recall notice on my vehicle?
ALLDATA does not offer recall assistance. Contact your local dealership regarding your recall concerns. They should be able to search your VIN and determine if there are any open or unresolved campaigns that might involve your vehicle.

How do I find repair procedures?
Log in to ALLDATAdiy.com and select a vehicle. Information is organized by vehicle components. You can also find repair procedures by looking at Shortcuts to Popular Information. If you still cannot find a repair procedure, click on Contact Customer Support. Please include your VIN so we can assist you.
What do “Skill Levels”, “Standard”, and “Mfg. Warranty” mean on the Parts and Labor Pages?
Skill Levels
Skill Levels indicates the technician skill level required to properly perform the service.
There are three types of Skill Levels:

Standard
Standard indicates the average amount of hours it takes a technician of the appropriate skill level to perform the procedure.

The amount of hours displayed is a national average provided by MOTOR.
Mfg. Warranty
Mfg. Warranty is used by repair shops when performing warranty repairs.

ALLDATAdiy.com does not offer mechanical or technical advice.
