I’ve been around cars my entire life. You could say that working on cars is in my blood. My father is a 40-plus year veteran of the automotive Industry and my brother has worked as a technician for years. So, it’s only natural that I followed suit.
As a kid, I can remember taking my bicycles apart and modifying them by swapping parts off other bikes. My mechanical curiosity began to grow and I started taking other things apart just to see if I could remember how they went back together.
I eventually started going to work with my father and hanging out around the shop. I would just sit back and watch and learn. Little did I know that just hanging around the shop would soon lead me to my first job in the automotive world – an apprentice at Subaru.
Within a few short years of working for Subaru, I advanced to Subaru Master and ASE Master Technician with a primary focus in drivability and heavy engine work. A few years after that, I achieved the rank of Subaru Senior Master Technician. This was a pretty big accomplishment in my career due to the multi-level requirements necessary to achieve this rank.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids. They are my inspiration to keep my goals high and to always strive to be better. My weekends are normally filled with sports (GO FALCONS!!) or spending time in the great outdoors. You can find me hiking on the Appalachian Trail pretty frequently. A little motto I live by is, hike more, worry less.
When the opportunity arose to be a member of the ALLDATA Tech-Assist team, I jumped on it immediately. I’m excited for this next stretch of my career. Not only do I get to help other technicians across the country fix problem vehicles, I also get to build relationships with people. I look forward to hearing from you. Happy Trails.
