Like many technicians, I found out early that I liked taking things apart to see how they worked. This usually got me in a tad bit of trouble sometimes, but most often, I got rewarded for fixing whatever it was.
In high school, I was described as “mechanically inclined” although woodshop was my favorite class. I attended a community college known for their automotive program, graduated and moved back to Pittsburgh to start in my first dealership job. This is where most of my automotive experience came from.
Since 1976 I have been with Chrysler/Dodge dealerships as a technician, wrote service for four years and now, I’m very happy to be with ALLDATA as an automotive diagnostic consultant. I have always enjoyed training other tech’s to be the best they could be and look forward to helping our Tech-Assist customers in any way I can.
In my spare time, I like to do a lot of fishing – haven’t been hunting in a while. Most days, I can be found either in my woodshop or in the “cave” playing pool. I have been collecting coins and stamps since I was 9-years old and I still play guitar a little. If you’d like a great recipe for lager beer or a variety of wines, I’d be happy to share… just the recipes that is.
