The Freeze Frame screen displays the Parameter ID (PID) values associated with a specific DTC at the moment the DTC occurred. This will help show a better idea of what conditions the vehicle was under when the DTC was set.
Freeze Frame History is accessible from the Freeze Frame screen on any of your ALLDATA Mobile tablets.
To view a DTC freeze frame, select Diagnose from the menu >> tap Freeze Frame.
The Freeze Frame Screen
Displays the DTC number and description, as well as all available freeze frame data.
Note: If multiple DTCs exist, freeze frame information will only be available for the first DTC.
View DTC Article
Opens the ALLDATA troubleshooting article for the specified DTC.
Freeze Frame History
Displays previous DTC freeze frame data.
Refreshes the page with the most current freeze frame data.
Clear Active Codes
Clears all active codes that are currently being held by the vehicle’s ECU.
Note: This will also reset all emissions readiness monitors.
