Creating an Email Blast
Write a single email message and send it to many customers, while automatically personalizing each message with information from your customer database.
Creating the Email Message
Click Setup >> User Options >> Messages.
Select General >> write a Brief Description like “Still Open”.
Customizing Your Outgoing Email Address
Before using the Customer Relationship Manager or emailing customers from Manage Online, enter your Sender Email so the email appears to come from your shop.

IMPORTANT - If you do NOT customize this field, your emails to customers will appear to come from {your username}@awol.co.uk.

Click Setup >> User Options >> Messages.
Select an option below:
Creating Reminder Types
Reminders are used to alert you to customers’ service and maintenance needs.
Click Setup >> User Options >> Reminder Types.
Enter a Reminder Name >> click Update.
Example: Oil Change, Air Filter, Timing Belt Service.
Sending Messages to Customers
Note: Text messaging is currently limited to 250 messages per month.
Using the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to send messages to customers increases productivity and business by informing customers of vehicles that are ready, important service intervals, and sales.
Before using the Customer Relationship Manager, you must create messages. See Creating and Editing Messages.
Sending a Text Message to the Customer from the Work Document
Note: Text messaging is currently limited to 250 messages per month.
You can send a text message to your customer from the Work document. Write a new message or send a predefined General text message.
From the Work Document:
Click the cell phone icon.
Assigning a Reminder to a Vehicle
Before assigning a reminder to a vehicle, you must create reminder types. See Creating Reminders Types.
To assign a Reminder to a vehicle:
From the bottom-right corner Work screen, type in a date (mm/dd/yyyy), or select a date by clicking in the calendar icon >> click Update.
Integrating with Intuit Demandforce
Intuit Demandforce is a subscription-based program used to help small shops dramatically strengthen their customer communication and marketing.
Using customer and vehicle information from your Manage Online database, Demandforce helps with:
Communication: surveys, referrals, automated texts
Marketing: local ads, targeted offers, business directories, search rankings, results

MechanicNet is a subscription-based program that provides marketing tools such as web page development, social media management and communications to help any size repair shop better connect with their customers, increasing retention and satisfaction.
