Adding Actual Costs and Details to Orders

Keeping track of actual costs and comparing them to what was billed helps you manage your shop more efficiently.

 

After a service is provided, but before the order is cashiered or posted, enter:

  • A note in the Work Performed field in all labor, sublet and miscellaneous line items.

  • The actual labor hours in the Flagged Hours field on all labor line items.

  • The actual cost in the Cost field on all part, sublet and miscellaneous line items.

  • Note: Warning messages can be enabled in the Company Setup window to display when an invoice is posted without part or labor costs.
