Registering iSHOP

  1. Start (or the Windows flag icon) >> (All) Programs >> ALLDATA >> ALLDATA iSHOP Configuration.

  2.  In the ALLDATA/AZ Commercial iSHOP Configuration Utility box, verify that the Computer Name is listed in the Registered Clients box.

    • If it IS listed, iSHOP is already configured (registered).

    • If it is NOT listed, continue to the next steps.

  3. When clicking on the following buttons, an MS DOS prompt window with a black background will briefly pop up then disappear. Wait for the window to go away before clicking on the next button.

    • Click on Unregister Server (bottom-right button).

    • Click on Unregister Client (top-right button).

    • Click on Register Server (bottom-left button).

  4. iSHOP is now registered.

    • The name of the computer should appear in the Registered Clients box on the right.

  5. Close the ALLDATA/AZ Commercial iShop Configuration Utility by clicking on the X in the upper-right corner.

  6. Open ALLDATA® ManageSM and reopen the catalog. 

IMPORTANT - If your shop has networked computers, repeat this process on EACH computer that uses ALLDATA Manage or a third-party shop management system that is iSHOP compliant.
